Background

A Sydney insulation business that supplies and installs ceiling, wall, underfloor and acoustic insulation from its own warehouse, selling to builders, trades and homeowners.

It wanted more enquiries and a way to sell its range online. Its five-page website had been built and hosted by another agency.

Challenge

The site gave Google very little to work with. Pages were missing main headings and descriptions, titles were duplicated and every page targeted only the home suburb.

There was no address, no reviews and no clear way to get in touch. Meanwhile cheaper unlicensed installers were winning work on price, so the business needed to show up for real searches across Sydney.

Our approach

01
Take control of the website

Arranged the handover from the previous agency and moved the domain, website and email to new hosting, keeping the client updated through each step.

02
Build pages around real searches

Researched around 500 keywords and planned a 44-page site of service, product and area pages. Service pages and blog articles were built against that plan.

03
A shop and clean listings

Built an online shop with postcode-based shipping and pick-up, rebuilt the product catalogue, and audited the business's directory listings to fix them and add more.
